About the event
This class consists of 5 sessions, meeting weekly on Sundays, 9:00am-10:30am, from August 2 through August 30.
Step into a space where technique meets fearless personal performance. The class begins with ensemble exercises and group work designed to sharpen core acting skills — presence, listening, emotional truth, and bold choice-making. These exercises prepare you to fully inhabit your individual material. You will then focus on contemporary monologues, exploring beats, objectives, character motivation, and emotional nuance. All students will have the opportunity to perform for the group, with direct feedback from the instructor to help you refine your instincts, deepen your range, and elevate your choices. By the end, you will leave with a monologue that is polished, compelling, and truly your own, ready to make an impact in auditions and performance.
