Falsettos is a bold and groundbreaking musical about love, family, and the complicated ways we belong to one another. At its center is Marvin, a man trying to build a life that makes sense — for himself, for his ex-wife, for his son, and for the partner he loves — in a world that is still learning how to understand them.

 

Funny, intimate, and devastating, Falsettos blends razor-sharp humor with profound emotional depth. With a soaring, intricate score by William Finn and James Lapine, this Tony Award-winning musical reshaped what stories could be told on the musical theatre stage, and whose lives could be centered there.
