Elevator Theatre Company will be making its home in Halifax beginning in the summer of 2026, and we’re so excited to start connecting with this vibrant and creative community. ETC is built on intimate, emotionally charged storytelling, detailed character work, and a process that places actors and artistry at the center. Building on its impact in Ottawa, where ETC has become known for theatre that challenges and moves audiences, the company is relocating to the East Coast to continue its work in a city known for collaboration, generosity, and a strong passion for the arts.

Halifax has an energy that aligns naturally with the kind of work ETC creates. The move will allow the company to build a long-term home where artists can take risks, audiences can engage with powerful stories up close, and new creative partnerships can grow with intention.

We are very much looking forward to meeting new artists, welcoming new audiences, and beginning ETC’s Halifax chapter together this summer.
See you soon, Nova Scotia.
